Department of cerebrovascular neurosurgery provides medical care to patients with various neurovascular conditions including surgical treatment and endovascular treatment.

Conditions treated:

  • arteriovenous malformation
  • brain aneurysm
  • carotid arteries disease
  • transient ischemic attack
  • carotid-cavernous fistula
  • cavernoma

We perform preoperative embolization of arteriovenous malformation and brain tumors which allows reducing postoperative blood loss, facilitate allocation of arteriovenous malformation or tumor, achieve higher degree of efficacy of ablation, improve the results of surgical treatment.

The staff of the department consists of 23 specialists, including 2 neurosurgeons.
